Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. Description of Service

The App is a social platform that allows users to:

  • Scan and track kandi bracelets
  • View their journey across users
  • Participate in group chats tied to kandi
  • Send direct messages to other users

4. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others
  • Engage in illegal activity
  • Share harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Upload, share, request, solicit, store, or distribute child sexual abuse material or other exploitative content involving minors
  • Groom, lure, sexualize, exploit, traffic, sextort, or otherwise endanger a child or attempt to do so
  • Use direct messages, group chats, profiles, links, or other App features to facilitate abuse, exploitation, or illegal contact involving a minor
  • Impersonate others
  • Use the App for exploitation or malicious purposes

We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation.

Our Child Safety and CSAE Standards, as published on our website, are incorporated into these Terms and form part of the rules governing use of the App.

5. User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for all content you post or transmit.

By submitting content, you grant WookLink a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content in connection with the App.

We are not responsible for user content and do not endorse it.

You acknowledge that WookLink may review, remove, preserve, and disclose user-generated content and related account information where we believe it is necessary for safety, investigation, legal compliance, enforcement of these Terms, or protection of users and the public.

6. Social Interaction Disclaimer

The App facilitates interactions between users.

We do not control, verify, or guarantee the identity, intentions, or behavior of users.

You acknowledge and agree:

  • You interact with others at your own risk
  • We are not responsible for disputes, harm, or damages arising from interactions
  • This includes both online and offline interactions, including meetups

7. Messaging and Group Chat Risks

The App includes private and group messaging features.

We are not responsible for:

  • Messages sent by users
  • Offensive or harmful communications
  • Outcomes resulting from conversations

Use these features at your own discretion and risk.

Private and group messaging may not be used to engage in, facilitate, or attempt unlawful conduct, including child sexual abuse or exploitation. WookLink may investigate, preserve, remove, and disclose message-related information where permitted or required by applicable law for safety, legal compliance, or enforcement purposes.

8. Account Termination

We may, at our sole discretion:

  • Suspend or terminate your account
  • Remove content
  • Restrict access
  • Preserve relevant records and cooperate with reports to law enforcement, NCMEC, regulators, or other authorities where permitted or required by applicable law

At any time, for any reason, with or without notice.

We may also deny re-registration or continued access to users we believe present safety, legal, or platform-integrity risks.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App (excluding user content) are owned by WookLink.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

10. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WookLink and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your content
  • Your interactions with other users
  • Your violation of these Terms

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

We make no warranties, including:

  • That the App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • That content will be accurate or reliable
  • That interactions will be safe
  • That all harmful, unlawful, abusive, or exploitative conduct will be detected, blocked, or removed

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

WookLink shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or reputation
  • Harm resulting from user interactions or content

This applies even if we have been advised of possible damages.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of: Michigan, United States

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms may be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
