Child Safety & CSAE Standards

Last updated: 2025

1. Purpose

WookLink prohibits the use of its app, website, and related services to create, store, share, solicit, promote, normalize, or facilitate child sexual abuse or exploitation in any form.

This policy applies to all use of WookLink, including user profiles, usernames, text, links, images, chat messages, group chats, kandi-related activity, metadata, and any other user-generated content or behavior on or through the service.

For purposes of this policy, "CSAE" includes child sexual abuse material ("CSAM"), grooming, child sexual exploitation, sextortion, trafficking, sexualization of minors, and any attempt to exploit, endanger, or abuse a child.

2. Zero-Tolerance Conduct

Users may not use WookLink to:

  • Upload, share, request, store, or distribute CSAM
  • Groom, lure, solicit, coerce, exploit, or sexualize a minor
  • Promote or facilitate child sexual abuse, exploitation, trafficking, or sextortion
  • Use WookLink to arrange off-platform abuse, exploitation, or illegal sexual contact involving a minor
  • Encourage, instruct, assist, advertise, or attempt any conduct described above
  • Use deceptive identities, private messaging, group chats, links, or other features to evade enforcement of this policy

Any such conduct is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate enforcement action.

3. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement immediately.

If you encounter suspected CSAE, CSAM, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or related child-safety violations involving WookLink, contact us at: safety@wook.link

Reports should include enough detail for us to investigate, such as relevant usernames, links, chat details, dates, screenshots, or other context where available.

You may also report suspected child sexual abuse material or exploitation directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children ("NCMEC") CyberTipline at: https://report.cybertip.org/

If you are located outside the United States, you may also report to your local law enforcement authority or an appropriate regional hotline, including an INHOPE-affiliated hotline where available: https://www.inhope.org/

4. Review and Enforcement

WookLink may review child-safety reports and related content using a combination of user reports, internal investigation, automated signals, manual review, and other safety tools.

We may take any action we consider appropriate to protect users, children, the service, and the public, including:

  • Removing or disabling access to content
  • Restricting messaging or other product features
  • Suspending or terminating accounts
  • Preserving content, account records, and logs
  • Referring matters to NCMEC, law enforcement, regulators, child-safety hotlines, or other appropriate authorities

WookLink reserves the right to act with or without notice where we believe it is necessary for safety, investigation, legal compliance, or platform integrity.

5. Cooperation With Authorities

Where permitted or required by applicable law, WookLink may preserve, use, and disclose relevant information relating to suspected child safety violations, including account identifiers, contact information, content, metadata, device and log information, and report details.

Such disclosures may be made to:

  • NCMEC
  • Law enforcement agencies
  • Courts, regulators, or government authorities
  • Child-safety hotlines or organizations
  • Service providers assisting with safety review, investigations, legal compliance, or platform security

WookLink may also retain safety-related records for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate reports, comply with legal obligations, protect users, preserve evidence, resolve disputes, and enforce its policies.

6. No Guarantee of Monitoring

WookLink may use proactive and reactive safety measures, but does not guarantee that all harmful, unlawful, or abusive conduct will be detected, blocked, reviewed, or removed before it occurs or causes harm.

Nothing in this policy creates an obligation for WookLink to pre-screen all content, monitor every interaction, or prevent all misuse of the service.

7. User Responsibilities

By using WookLink, you agree that you will:

  • Not post, send, request, or store prohibited child sexual abuse or exploitation content
  • Not use the service to contact, target, or exploit minors
  • Promptly report suspected child-safety violations encountered through the service
  • Comply with lawful requests and WookLink's safety enforcement processes

Violation of this policy may lead to immediate removal from the service and referral to the appropriate authorities.

8. Related Policies

This Child Safety and CSAE Standards page supplements WookLink's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of any inconsistency, WookLink may apply the interpretation that best protects children, users, and compliance obligations, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Updates

WookLink may update these standards at any time to reflect legal, operational, safety, or platform requirements. Updated versions become effective when posted, unless otherwise stated.
